The Optional
Inventory Module is used to manage and maintain detailed Inventory. Authorized
personnel are allowed to enter and maintain Inventory, Invoices, Groups,
Inventory Items, Subgroups, Units and Vendors. Standard inventory formulas are used for calculating inventory (Starting
Inventory + Purchases – Sales = Projected Ending Inventory and Actual Inventory
– Projected Ending Inventory = Variance)
The Inventory
Module is not a stand-alone operation. Before you begin, it would be a
good idea to become familiar with the major functions of this module. The
reports for Inventory are configured in Reports > Setup.
